HOSTEL FACILITY

Separate hostels for boys and girls exist within the IISE campus. Hostel rooms are provided on twin/three sharing basis with all basic amenities. The hostels also have separate mess with latest Kitchen equipment and spacious dining halls to provide healthy and hygienic meals. The hostels have round the clock security and students are expected to abide by the hostel rules.

The hostel rooms are spacious with natural light and ventilation. Hostel has neat & clean washroom. Each student is provided with a cot, a study table and chair and a mattress.

Lucknow University College has most secured hostel for girls.

Hostel Discipline:

The hostellers are required to abide by the hostel rules .No student should stay away from his/her room during the night except in exceptional cases with prior written permission of the warden. Any student, who wishes to leave the campus temporarily or otherwise, should obtain the permission of warden in writing. Those applying for permission must state the date and time of his/her intended departure and return as well as the destination. Students are advised to avoid partying, playing loud music, singing aloud, shouting or making all types of noises which are likely to distract the attention of other hostellers. Pets of all kinds are prohibited inside the hostels. Feeding stray dogs or cats in the hostel premises is not permitted. No male visitors are allowed to visit girl students in the hostel premises. Parents must supply the name of a local guardian for their wards. Students are advised not to keep large cash or valuables in their hostel room. Institute will not be responsible for any loss, whatsoever. Defaulters will be appropriately punished, as per the decision taken by the Proctorial Board.

Security:

The following arrangements have been made to ensure the security of the inmates of the hostels:

Security check at the main gate of each Hostel.
Lady guard at girls hostels, round the clock
Surveillance video camera at entrance of all hostel buildings.

Wi-Fi Internet Facilities:

All hostels have secure Wi-Fi internet connectivity, through high end firewall.

TV Lounge:

Common sitting lounge with cable connection on the ground floor of each hostel building.

IISE hostels are “No Smoking” Campus. Students are not allowed to buy, possess, take and/or drink any alcohol/intoxicating drink/drug or any similar thing of any kind whatsoever and /or smoke in the room /or any part of the premises; the same shall apply to visitors also. In case of default, strict disciplinary action, even amounting to rustication from the hostel/institute, will be taken as per rules and code of conduct.

Students, who wish to reside in the hostel, will have to compulsorily abide by the code of conduct.
